Now I'm nearly sorted when it comes to moving out of the previous family home and have, to a great extent, accepted the situation, I have identified a new side effect. That of viewing women as potential sexual conquests.

This is not good. I'm not that sort of bloke (or am I?!?!?!).

I mentioned it to a female friend today and she said that it's natural for guys in my position, as in, having been dumped from a previously all engrossing relationship. She reckons it's just the male ego wanting to prove that they are not on the scrap heap, to prove that they have still got 'it'.

I can see that.

Hot on the heals of the previous post, what's the deal after the actual split? I'll be living on my own (sniff) and have time to kill. So here's The Plan:

1) I need to vastly improve my Spanish.

As I live in Spain and will not be able to depend on X2B and her significantly better but still faltering Spanish to handle all the communications for me, I've got to pull my finger out and get on with it. So that means custody of the tapes, CD,s books etc. that have sat on the bookshelf, unloved, for months and months.

So, X2B's out with her boyfriend tonight, she was obviously very nervous about telling me. I can always tell, she rambles on and on about stuff. Silly really, I've told her many times that I don't mind when / how often she sees him as long as they don't have sex until we actually separate. I'm sure they are not doing so, at least for the moment.

We're talking about finances tomorrow whilst the small person is at a friends house. I think it will go well, I think she understands more now that I am not trying to stiff her out of money. We'll find out tomorrow.
