What's In a symbol??

A symbol = an expression of..........

Finding it hard to accept that I noticed over the week-end my ("still") wife (we are in the process of instigating Separation etc.) has removed her Wedding Ring. How do I feel about this??? Not too sure............

When is it the right time to remove any outward sign of attachment?

Love it or hate it

I wonder how many people on this site are also on Facebook. I am, partly because I admit I'm nosey, partly because I read a lot of interesting articles and partly because I like to keep in touch and look at photos of my family that are living a long way from me. However it also can be very hurtful and deceiving.. Summer holidays are upon us and my Facebook is full of photos of happy families. People having a lovely time with their loved ones, smiling faces, smiling teenagers out with there happily married parents. Please don't think I'm wishing bad things on people, I'm really not. But

A connected world??

It's a Saturday night and how can you you feel so lonely - it's a connected world!!! Really?? Whilst the working week manages to keep many thoughts temporarily "at bay" it's the weekends that are, for me the killer. It's when the reality of my sad situation comes to the fore - what have the last 20+ years been for? Two great adult (early 20's) kids who are my absolute pride and joy - have I failed them at the last hurdle??
