When you get divorced it is strongly recommended that you obtain a court approved consent order which is essentially a legally binding financial agreement.

If you do not do this then you are open to your ex making fresh claims against your assets and income years into the future if your circumstances were to change, whether that is a lottery win, a pay rise or an increase in the value of your home. 

Informal agreements, whether made verbally or in writing are not watertight, and can be over-ruled by the courts in years to come.

The service can be completed by email and phone. No face to face appointments are necessary. In most cases there is no need to attend court. 

Who is the service for?

In general this service is suitable when:

	You are able to reach an amicable agreement on finances.
	You want a legally binding agreement without spending a fortune.
	Your divorce will be processed, or has already completed, in England & Wales.

This service is also available to self reppers who went down the contested court route for ancillary relief and at some stage reached a negotiated settlement.

Choose this option if you require a simple clean break and your agreement does not require there to be any transfer of property title deeds and there is no pension sharing and no maintenance agreement.

Consent Order (medium) £359
When you choose this option your agreement can include:
- 2 property transfers
- 2 pension shares

- 4 property transfers
- 4 pension shares
- a maintenance agreement

What is included in this service?

This comprehensive service includes all of the following:

	You need to be able to arrive at a plain english agreement with your ex on finances. Our qualified lawyers will turn this into a legally binding consent order.
	We will submit the consent order to the court for approval and will handle and requests for changes made by the court.
	We will assist you to obtain a marriage certificate if you have lost your original.
	We provide a free telephone support line that you can call if you have any questions about the process.

What is not included in this service? 

The price of £259 does not include the court fees of £50 which will be payable on submission of the consent order to the court.

This fixed price service includes all of the drafting for the order, but does not include any mediation or negotiation. You and your ex should have already reached a deal (following mediation or court hearings) or be in an amicable enough position that you can agree the terms of the financial deal between yourselves.

We manage the whole process from start to finish

Provided that you and your spouse are agreed on a fair financial agreement,  the process is fairly straightforward:

	1) Reach an agreement: The first step is to agree on a fair financial settlement with your spouse. One decision is whether to go for a 'Clean Break', or whether to include ongoing monthly maintenance payments. Whichever you choose it can be written up as a Consent Order.
	2) Place your Order: Use the 'Order Now' button below to pay the low fixed fee for your legally binding consent order.
	3) Questionnaire: Once we receive your order we will send you a simple questionnaire by email, which you can complete on your PC (or if you prefer by printing it out). The questionnaire asks for the following information: a) the name and address of both parties, b) the agreement you have reached in your own words and c) some basic financial details such as your annual income and the value of your property.
	4) Return completed Questionnaire: Send us your completed questionnaire by email (or post if you prefer).
	5) Draft Consent Order: Based on the information provided, we will draft up a Consent Order, which we post to you for you both to sign and return.
	6) Court Approval: We will submit the signed consent order to the courts, and once approved, we will send you each a final copy.
