A complete solution from a specialist family lawyer
This is our most comprehensive service and offers a complete solution to your divorce and the related financial settlement.
This service would cost anywhere from £700 to £1500 from a high street solicitor, who may well be less experienced in family law than our legal partners who have a highly rated family law department.
Part 1 - Divorce fully managed by a professional and fully regulated law firm.
Service Description
This is a complete service from a fully accredited family law firm, who will manage your divorce from start to finish for a low fixed fee. The service includes everything you would expect to get from a high street law firm. It includes legal advice related to your divorce petition.
Who is the service for?
This service is designed for those who want the reassurance of having their divorce managed by an experienced family lawyer, without paying the £200 an hour charged by most high street solicitors.
The service can be completed by email and phone. No face to face appointments are necessary. In most cases there is no need to attend court.
What is included in this service?
This comprehensive service includes all of the following:
We manage the whole process for you

2) Questionnaire Sent Out: We will send you (by email or post) a very simple questionnaire to gather basic information such as your name, address, date of marriage and place of marriage.
3) Return Questionnaire: You complete the questionnaire and return it to us. You also send us an original copy of your marriage certificate (we can obtain a new one for you if you have lost it). If paying by cheque don't forget to include it with the questionnaire.
4) Submit Petition: We draft and submit the required documents - including a Petition document to the court. At this point you need to pay a £550 court fee (unless you are exempt due to low income).
5) Acknowledgement: The court will notify your spouse by sending them a copy of the petition. Your spouse will need to sign and return a short form to the court to acknowledge receipt of the petition.
6) Decree Nisi: Once the acknowledgement is received we will apply to the court for a Decree Nisi. A judge will review the application and provided everything is in order then the divorce will be approved in principal and the Decree Nisi issued.
7) Decree Absolute: The Decree Absolute is the final certificate that legally ends the marriage. We can apply for this on your behalf 6 weeks after the Decree Nisi.

Part 2 - Consent Order (Clean Break) managed by a highly rated professional law firm
Service Description (scroll down for full details)
When you get divorced it is strongly recommended that you obtain a court approved consent order which is essentially a legally binding financial agreement.
If you do not do this then you are open to your ex making fresh claims against your assets and income years into the future if your circumstances were to change, whether that is a lottery win, a pay rise or an increase in the value of your home.
Informal agreements, whether made verbally or in writing are not watertight, and can be over-ruled by the courts in years to come.
The service can be completed by email and phone. No face to face appointments are necessary. In most cases there is no need to attend court.

In general this service is suitable when:

Your divorce will be processed, or has already completed, in England & Wales. |

We manage the whole process from start to finish
Provided that you and your spouse are agreed on a fair financial agreement, the process is fairly straightforward:
1) Reach an agreement: The first step is to agree on a fair financial settlement with your spouse. One decision is whether to go for a 'Clean Break', or whether to include ongoing monthly maintenance payments. Whichever you choose it can be written up as a Consent Order.
2) Place your Order: Use the 'Order Now' button below to pay the low fixed fee for your legally binding consent order.
3) Questionnaire: Once we receive your order we will send you a simple questionnaire by email, which you can complete on your PC (or if you prefer by printing it out). The questionnaire asks for the following information: a) the name and address of both parties, b) the agreement you have reached in your own words and c) some basic financial details such as your annual income and the value of your property.
4) Return completed Questionnaire: Send us your completed questionnaire by email (or post if you prefer).
5) Draft Consent Order: Based on the information provided, we will draft up a Consent Order, which we post to you for you both to sign and return.
6) Court Approval: We will submit the signed consent order to the courts, and once approved, we will send you each a final copy. At this point you need to pay a £50 court fee (unless you are exempt due to low income).
