My big 40 birthday has been and gone and i had the most fantastic time. My Mum organised a surprise party my family came from different ends of the country along with all my closest friends, it was so lovely and made me feel truly blessed to have so much support as i know they made the effort because what has happened. Back to reality and i start my new hours at work which is the plan as he is going to take over the business. He has been dragging his heals up to now but seems to be getting his act together, something i have been asking him to do so why do i feel upset by this? things are

I've just returned from a meetup group picnic which was good, lovely weather and a nice group of people so why do I feel so lonely? I'm quite a shy person and it isn't an easy thing to do to go and meet a group of people you havn't met before. I think during 16 years with the same person you use them as a crutch, you have the same group of friends which don't alter too much and rely on each others company, but all that is gone now and I have to start again and that's a lonely business.
