Now we have social services involved in this.  Not just Cafcass but the child care team.  I don't know if this is good or bad as I have yet to speak to the case officer myself.  stbx has been interviewed and apparently children are to be seen tomorrow but no-one seems to know for sure and no appointment has been made.  I am guessing that our GP has contacted them but it could have been the school although they wre reluctant to action things.

I think I said last time the school have said they will not allow the children to go home with their mother so they are in afterschool care until 4.30/5pm

Well folks - it's been a long time since I came on the site - so thought I'd let you know how things are. Ex got engaged to significant other over the summer and divorce was finalised in September awaiting Court approval of the Consent Order. That was eventually sorted following a Court hiccup - meaning it took nearer 6 weeks than the 2 we were led to believe. All done and dusted so to speak - and as a bit of a result I managed to keep my pension entirely and got a share of the equity based on a 12 month old valuation - given current state of the market a right result! Well today its 6 months since my marriage ended and im feeling very low today.... Im not living just existing day to day.... I finally started my divorce today and when I had put the phone down from the solicitor I felt sick.... I have been putting off doing it not sure why.....  I have known for a long while that it's over and somehow just couldn't bring my self to make that step ....  Now it is done....
