Are there any happy stories on Wiki. Is there anyone here that has gone back to their ex's and lived happily ever after. Is it possible.

I am scared to try. Do I go to relate and work at fixing my marraige, Will it all go pair shaped, then the hurt and distress starts all over again. Is it worth taking the risk.

Thank you for your replies. I do know what I have to do to get over this, it's putting it in to practice that's the hard bit. I should be finding it so much easier, my ex was not a nice man to live with. He was a drinker too and he would come home drunk from his after work pub trip (every day)! He would moan if there was anything out of place and would expect a spotless house! I spent my time making sure everywhere was nice and tidy. You know, it is the most wonderful thing in the world to wake up feeling content.  It's not about the house you live in (I know this as I currently live in a hastily rented hovel!) and it's not about money.

It's about knowing who you are and accepting the way things are and most of all, looking forward to a wonderful and exciting future. It is a long way from the one I planned though! My family is gone as I knew it. I still have my children  even though I was demoted to a part time Dad. But part time Dad is better then never having experienced the joy that they bring me.
