I decided to use the site as I liked the way it was laid out, it was eay to use, and the profiles on there that I browsed seemed to have a fair number of the type of lady that I wanted to meet. I suscribed to the site on a 3 day trial, and they then gave me a special offer of 3 months membership for the price of 2. I since found out that they do that for everyone! The site allows you to assign weightings from 'don't care' up to 'non negotiable' for a range of attributes. You can then search on members and it returns a list of matches with a percentage match, the higher the percentage the better the match. I worked out that you couldn't read too much into these percentage score, and the best thing was to email someone a fair bit, then talk to them, and then meet them if things looked promising. The lady I am now seeing, was not in my matches as she had put a non negotiable age range that I was outside off, but she was just browsing the site one day, saw my photo and contacted me. We hit it off straight away, and we both say that defining too many attributes as 'non negotiable' is the wrong thing to do, and think it is wrong to get hung up on narrow age ranges, whether someone smokes, or is 1 inch too short! The other thing I found is that there are people on it looking for friendship and not necessarily relationships. If you want to meet someone - give it a try! |
