With 48,000 members and 2,500 joining per month Wikivorce is the largest divorce and separation community in the world.

Wikivorce has sites for England and Wales (launched March 2007), Scotland (launched May 2009) and Australia (launched launched May 2009).

Our website is the most visited divorce site in the UK with over 3000 visitors a day. One new person discovers our website every minute.

Wikivorce has over 250,000 pages of information on divorce fully indexed by google - compare that to 20 or 30 pages for the average solicitor website.

Ian Rispin, the founder and managing director of Wikivorce, is a social entrepreneur who believes in the power of the internet in general, and of online support communities in particular, to deliver improved and more cost effective support services.

For the last 10 years Ian has been at the forefront of the eCommerce revolution in the travel industry. As a Senior Management Consultant at Accenture, he provided strategic business and technology advice to companies such as British Airways, Thomas Cook and American Express.

In early 2007, whilst in the midst of a difficult divorce, it became apparent to Ian that there was a tremendous opportunity to improve the availability of information, advice and services to people facing divorce.

Ian is available to discuss any matters relating to divorce and family law in the UK - and more broadly how the internet and mass collaboration can change the way we deliver support services. While Facebook allows millions to 'poke' and share photos, Wikivorce is a leading example of social networking with a purpose - we don't just connect people - we empower people to pick themselves up, define their goals and rebuild new lives.
