Friday the 21st March 2008 is Wikivorce's first birthday. It seems a lot longer to us on the Wikivorce team, but it is just one year ago today that the website was launched. A lot has happened in our first year, we have come a long, long way. We are very proud that Wikivorce is now the leading divorce website in the UK (based on Alexa ranking and traffic), and that we just recently welcomed our 10,000th member.
But, most importantly of all, we are very happy to have been able to help so many people at a time in their lives when they needed help.
One year ago Wikivorce was just an idea, now it is a lively, thriving
community. The website is just an enabler, what really matters is the
community. It is wonderful to witness each and every day the dozens of
examples of support and friendship, as people interact through the
forum, the blogs and in the chat room. It is fantastic to see peoples
faces in the photo gallery, people who have become real friends.
We want to thank each and every member who has helped to make Wikivorce
the caring and supportive environment that so many people going through
divorce need. Without you Wikivorce is nothing. With you, it makes a
real difference in peoples lives. Thank you all so much.
We would also like to wish all of you a Happy Easter.
