Been bumbling along this week, got to see the boys for a few hours when I installed their broad band and skype so we  can chat in the evening for a bit.

 

Yesterday, the DWP rang back and said that they have got my assesment wrong and that I will not be able to claim JSA or income support because of a small pension.

 

Busy redoing budgets, down to the nearest 10p. Its going to be extremely tightand only seems to work if I can get some accomodation at or below housing benefits levels.

When I read other peoples blogs I sometimes think that my own position is so straight forward and my heart goes out to all of you who have ex es that are manipulative, spiteful and are genearlly difficult. My own postion is very straight forward and yet it hurts like hell.

It was my birthday yesterday and I luckily had all my family around me and cards and texts from friends and a nice BBQ to finish the day off. However when everyone left I fell into a real trough. This is the first Birthday I have spent without my wife who I still love very much and who I wish I could forget but just can't.
