As 2009 approaches, many wikipeeps will be looking at the new year and living in hope that things will get better. I truely and sincerely hope it does for each and every one of the genuine people in the forum and chats rooms.

I too am no different, but my over riding concern is what direction am I going in?  What do I want to do?  Well if I am honest, I d like to travel......... but many reality factors keep slapping me in the face to dash my dream. Whether it be my job, not having enough money (at present), no travel companion(s), the divorce, or my parents, it always makes me think twice.

Joined Wikivorce today after reading article in January 2009 Living magazine. In the process of divorcing my husband of 28 years after finding out he was having an affair. He has refused to talk to me on any topic since March 2008,including our youngest son who was 14 at the time I threw his father out. New years  upon us.... a time for refelection and a time for hope. Im not a fan of new year and this will be no different. 

2008 has been the worst ...ever, even worse than 2006 when I lost my mum, whom I miss with a pain like no other.   This year I also lost my husband, for 6 long months, and he lost me.  My children lost their father but without their love and support, I would not be here now. ... I had to stay sane for them.
