Why when you just think you are turning the corner you see somethink and it just hurts you. Hubby has never had face book and he has now, i looked at his friends list and his ex is a friend the one that put him in the gutter where i picked him from. Ive blocked him so wont pop up any more but the hurt i felt was awfull wish it would just go away.

thanks male just diidnt expect the hurt feeling i got more annoyed because he slept with her at the beging of our relationship and i stuck by him oh never mind | |

remember my bloggs about face book? my friends daughter found out all his dirty little secrets, when the affair started (3 months before he left) who she was, everything, ive learnt its best not to look, and dont, let them get on with their sad lives .now trying to stop my son snooping on them though. it hurts likes hell when its on there in black and white/ colour whatever. i learnt today that facebook is the biggest reason for relationship breakdowns, i thought tell me about it (((big hugs))) xxxx | |

Facebook is lousy in so many ways. I work in software and greatly admire what they have done from a business perspective. They're geniuses. Socially though, I really do think that it is an awful tool. Not just from a marriage perspective but also from an every day perspective. The number of people that are so active on FB and never out there with real people is astounding. So - ignore FB, use it wisely, and get out and on with your life with real people! |

Hi It's not just Facebook that is to blame for relationship breakdown. It's the new technology we use, mobile phones, the Internet, etc. All these had a major factor in wrecking my marriage. My husband went from someone who hardly used a mobile to taking it everywhere with him, even to the toilet! Most of the meetings he engineered with his female friend were done with the use of a mobile. That doesn't include all the occasions he used the computer to chat with this person online. Still that is all water under the bridge for me now. I have become s stronger person since then. Best Wishes Jules M |

caz2011, Some wise old Wiki (and he knows who he is - but he is not really old!) pointed out the FB is the work of the devil. This I 100% agree with. FB was the start of my real problems when the first OW was on the prowl for long lost friends, when she had nothing better to do! I agree with Jules M that technology plays a big part in where some of us find ourselves today, too much too young or too fast or too disposable, however you want to put it! I had to listen to some of the young ones at work today going on about how FB is a way of life and you just have to accept it or if you don't you are the strange one! What would our forefathers think of this rubbish? Call me old fashioned, but seriously if I had wanted a part in Eastenders, I would have applied for it in 1985, it just seems that FB is now the real living and breathing Eastenders, except it is real life and real families who are getting hurt. Caz2011, do yourself a favour, cancel your account and go out there and prove to him that the best revenge is to live the best life possible. Take care for now FoS x |

Yes my wife went from hardly using the technology to actually sleeping with her phone beside her. It's been very weird to watch this transformation. | |
