How To Submit Articles

We are pleased to announce another new innovation here at Wikivorce.

You can now Submit Articles for publication on Wikivorce.

In recent months we have noticed some very high quality informative replies being posted on the forum. This is great, but we feel it is a shame that such useful articles are 'buried' in the middle of a forum thread. So we have developed an online Ariticle Submission feature.

How To Start:

1) We welcome submissions from both individuals or businesses.

2) To write an article you need to be registered on Wikivorce - click here to register . Once you are registered and logged on - your username on Wikivorce needs to be set-up as an "author" . This is simple and free. Just send a quick private message to Wikivorce Team to request to be an "author".

3) Please allow around 24 hours for us to update your user account. Then return to this page and you should see a new menu allowing you to create and submit articles.

Guidelines For Articles:

You will understand that we need to have some guidelines for articles that will be published on Wikivorce. Only articles that meet our guidelines will be published.

1) The article must be informative and useful for the Wikivorce audience.

2) It should be reasonably well written. Please check for spelling and other grammar mistakes.

3) Articles should not be blatant advertising or promotion for your business or website. Do not include any contact details in an article (this includes phone numbers, email and links to websites). However, if you do offer business services related to divorce then you are welcome to submit an article. Just keep the article informative and objective. You will be credited as author of the article, and by clicking your username (highlighted at the head of the article) readers will then be linked to your Wikivorce Profile page. We have added a new "About Me" tab to the profile where you are free to describe your business and the services you offer. Click here to update your "About  Me" section on your profile.

4) Authors can write and submit articles using the menu at the top of this page. All articles will be reviewed by Wikivorce Team before they are published. Please allow 24 hours for this review. We reserve the right to reject articles we feel are not suitable for our readers.

Layout Of Articles:

We need to maintain a consistent "look and feel" for all articles. Please try to follow the following "Style" guidelines. If you cannot get everything to look right, don't panic, just submit the article anyway and our editorial team will do the rest.

1) All articles should have an "Introduction" section and a "Main Text". The screen where you type in your article is split into two main sections. Type in your 2 or 3 paragraph "Introduction" in the top box, and type in the full "Main Text" in the second box. Please check existing articles to guage roughly how long the introduction text should be.

2) If you are cutting and pasting text from another source (e.g. your website), you will need to fix the font to the Wiki font. After pasting the text in the editor, select ALL your text, and then use the "--format--" dropdown to select the main font called "-paragraph-". Then by the same method select your article headings and set them to "-heading 2-" or "-heading 3-".
