Once the holiday season's over and there's a bit more time could we do a few surveys amongst the wikivorce community to see what's bog standard practice and what's best practice for ancillary relief? There's getting on for 20 thousand people on here who've all experienced divorce - it's a huge research resource- I'd love to know how many of us DIYed all the way to the final hearing - how many went collaborative/mediation - how many got spousal maintenance and for how long. How many did pension sharing - how many offset the pension against something else etc etc.......... It would help newbies coming along to know a bit more about what they can expect or aim for? Maybe we could produce a picture of what's happening - maybe eventually find a better way?
