Discreet and confidentiality 3 Months, 4 Weeks ago
I would like my solisitor not to disclose something untill some stage in the court.How I can make sure he/she won't send any stupid letter to my ex with some kind of information that i asked to be confidential,and then tell me: "oh sorry,I forgot to ask my secretary to avoid that!!!" Are there any confidentiality agreements between you and lawyer that can ensure that disclosure will not happend before the court? Please someone advise what I should do. Thank you.

I cannot advise you legally, but as I understand it, your solicitor will have to disclose anything that is required by law. Any letter that your solicitor has to send out, usually will be sent in draft to you for agreement first. zara

My solicitor said as an officer of the courts anything i disclosed she had to then disclose herself...... if you dont want ur ex to know of something then tell no-one.

Hi everyone, thank you for your replies. If it is documents for ancillary relief when is the latest stage I can disclose it in court? Do you know when i need to file them to be a relevant document?
