Over a year they have been so intimidating; that once I received threats of having me put in prison; I decided to send copies of their letters; (and complaints about their conduct) to the judge. (I await hearing back from him) However, I informed his sols that I've done this; and they wrote saying they were going to have the judge write up a no contact (of any kind) Order....
blah, blah £$£$£$000 Blah!
That's less intimidating; but I think they're just making more money (from ex) in writing all these letters.
I'm living 20 miles away from ex. I haven't seen him since Nov 07 (apart from in Court) I want my settlement, and my life back.

If your contact with ex has been polite and constructive, as you say, I don't see how sols can justify the no contact order. Sounds like the agendas are that the sols just want to add to their coffers, and your ex is being cowardly about facing any possibly constructive resolution to this.Perhaps he is not used to dealing with things himself.Perhaps he is scared of outcome, financially, so is exaggerating his" distress" at your contact, instructing sols to be harsh with you. Hiding behind his solicitors. I hope the judge helps when you get a response re. sols letters and conduct- but try, also ,to not let the sols get a rise out of you. They know what they are doing, and they don't care about anyones" feelings"- they are probably just treating you like they treat all opponents. Aggressively. Hopefully, there are respectful and constructive solicitors too- they are just harder to find!

Thanks for your support. I air my views and I'm alarmed at how others' are feeling intimidated by this viscous process. I'm not even bothering to reply to their last letter (re Conduct). If he spent half as much effort trying to resolve the AR matters; we might have reached a time when we really don't need to be bothering with any aspect of each others' lives anymore!
Their latest letter tells me what they're going to ask a judge to Order. If I reply; it puts more money in their coffers; and will invite another reply .... I hope one day my ex sees that I am not playing into this stupid, pointless exercise.

Sera, that is a good point DON'T ENGAGE in the discussion in the first place, when they write a stupid letter just respond with points you need to clarify for your agenda/case not theirs or acknowledge receipt and leave it at that. Thank you and NO COMMENT. Just dont engage because when Judged by a Judge they will be seen as more honest than you, because they are professionals, the problem is professional standards have slipped and nobody gives a @1@@K

The judge told my ex he uses 'Extreme provocation' ..... I just see his sols letters as being an extension of that!
I'm not easilly provoked. They've been trying to get me to rise to their taunting for more than a year. I just deal with each letter civily and politely.

And these people sign up to the Code Of Practice???
I rest my case.
Where are the professionals???? Which of the professionals have contacted Resolution and asked why this isn't being handled properly, who still has the meaningless Code of Practice on their company website. You all need a very big disclaimer because the Code of practice is an optional EXTRA and that is not clearly defined anywhere!

Just to keep you all up to date and for future reference: I reported the other day that I had downloaded the information held at companies house relating to Resolution and in that information were the named directors. I have written individually to all of them, marked Private and Strictly Confidential. I am also in the process of doing the same to Justice Colridge one of the most senior judges in the family courts, who in January addressed Resolutions members and blamed the crisis in the family courts at the governments door. I haven't seen a full transcript of the speech so I just quoting from main stream media reports. Anyway I will keep you posted either here or my blog, which ever is the most appropriate. Thanks for all the comments and views and thanks to Sera for the use of her thread.
