Hi everyone
I went down to visit family today. The plan was to go out for a few hours - guess what happened. Two of the men had a bad week and want to unwind with their mates in the pub. Wives are livid. It made me smile though. Just one of the things I don't have to put up with anymore. He used to use that excuse with me and everytime I had to give in just to keep the peace - control freak!!
Why don't we start a list of the other things we don't miss about them

I dont miss

1. his gym addiction, at least one visit a day, usually two
2. his faffy eating habits and spending loads on vitamin supplements while I was 'told off' if weekly shop was a lot!
3. his family holidays!
4. having to watch endless Police programmes on tv
5. having to be ultra tidy!
6. not being able to have a lay in - it was deemed a waste and lazy!
7. forever wondering why his phone was glued to his side and on silent doh!
8. being the one at fault for HIS misdemeanours

What I relish....
1. being able to chose what I wear, what I watch, when I walk the dog, being able to eat things that are bad for me!!
2. Not having to worry or wonder and act like paranoid woman

(so will end up lazy corpulant untidy mess!! but HAPPY!)

Mrsnomore, that is so spooky, I was just saying to a friend yesterday that one of the main plus points for me was never having to watch 'Police, Camera, Action' ever again!!!

1. He's a couch potato. I prefer music, dancing and singing.
2. Snoring - use to pinch his nose and close his mouth to shut him up. Or tickle his face with my hair. Brill that one cos he used to smack himself in the face.

Don't get me wrong - Nowhere near over this. It has virtually destroyed me but know there has to be positives as well as negatives and know which I would like to focus on.

Well have given this a lot of thought, not because I couldn't think of anything but because I had to slim down the list so as not to take up too much of anyone's time reading it!

1) No more smelly socks abandonded randomly around the house.

2) No more farting, snoring, belching, not quite as sexy as he thought (no, surprise, surprise a fart does not constitute foreplay!).

3) No more rolling over in bed to be woken up by beer breath.

4) No more hair left in the sink after he's shaved.

5) No more being compared to his mother or sister and being found wanting (I cook roast potatoes my way so tough!).

6) No more arguments because he thinks it's ok to hit our dogs if they bark, make a mess or do anything that annoys him (not, I repeat NOT acceptable!).

7) No more having to eat the kind of food he likes, when he likes.

8) No more having to watch everything I say just incase it sets him off.

9) No more having to worry everything is up to his high standards (housework, cooking, etc.), which incidentally he never had to achieve.

10) No more faking orgasams to get it over and done with (quality not quantity guys).

Well I think you get the jist of where this is going, so why do I miss him so much!?!

Oh where to begin?

No more:

watching him pick his nose

getting annoyed as he constantly scratches his head ....'it's my bike helmet that causes it'-no you just have a spotty scalp!!!

'skid marks' on the sheets

toilet lid left up

finding 'someone' has eaten the kids or my chocolates

the snoring

the 'pop ups' on the computer because 'someone' has been looking at porn

the fear of the police calling

the AIDs test

Heavens, the list could be endless!!! Better stop now before I sign up for serious psychiatric help for actually staying with scumbag for so long
