my wife is filing for divorce. i am 60 years of age, retired, and receive a pension of £11k per year. my wife is 58 years of age and has been paying into a private pension scheme which matures, as does her government pension. She is also retired. The question is, will she have any rights over my pension.

Hi Mr H.
When you divorce the marital asset pot is divided. This will include house, investments, pensions etc. For a long marriage the starting point is 50:50 split, who gets what and how its divided will depend on the assets involved. Try the divorce calculator on this site, it should give you a useful starting point
