Married in Spain - which law applies? 1 Month, 3 Weeks ago
|
|
We married in Spain. Husband is English, am Spanish. The children were born in England but have dual nationality.
Can I get a divorce through English courts or do I need to apply to Spanish courts?
The same question goes for child custody and other care arrangements, i.e. which courts & agencies have jurisdiction over these matters? Spanish or English establishments?
Confused. Tkx vm.

Am I right in thinking you've lived in England for some years? Or do you live in Spain?

Then you can divorce here; don't know if you could divorce in Spain instead if you wanted to, or if there is an advantage to you doing that, but I guess someone will be along soon to give you more information...
