Jessie, I knew you would get a fuller answer than mine. Mediation is way cheaper than solicitors so try and make full use of it and just get solicitors to 'legalise' it. Solicitors are supposed to encourage mediation anyway. Good luck. Bert

Jessie - my X2B was generous whilst we were talking prior to any divorce proceedings. Once he spoke to a solicitor though all that changed and he now wants blood. Try and keep it all amicable and as someone has already said "nail him" whilst he is in a good mood. Best of luck and keep us updated. These Wiki Peeps have saved my sanity on more than one occasion. Thanks all I think I am going to book us in with a mediation person and then take the agreement to my solicitor and petition for divorce. is that in the right order would you say? Jessie
