Vale, As I understand it, the position with inheritances is that if it is possible for the divorcing parties needs (housing and living) can be met without recourse to the inheritance, it is ringfenced for the intended beneficiary.
Without knowing detailed information about your joint financial circumstances (home, assets, income, pensions, debts, dependants etc etc) , it would be impossible to say how it might be viewed.
