Can any one help me please? I have been with my partner for nearly 3 years He left his wife both conscented quite friendly nearly 5 years ago now they had originally agreed to 1 years consent but then she 'changed her mind'. He was going to do 2 years separation as they both live very separate lives in different countries. He took it to his solicitor just over 3 years ago but when they contacted her she was very nice and helpful saying would do conscented but then after 2 years with solicior 'changed her mind AGAIN' She has wasted alot of time pretending if he proved he hadnt secretly won lottery she would agree divorce we sent every bit of info she asked for now ignores solicitor He has filed for unreasonable behaviour now but we dont know where she is she does not know about me but for unknown reasons..she earns more than him there are no children or they didnt own a house and he has no savings or or pension...she wont divorce him she refuses to speak to him now or respond to solicitors can she ignore court papers? what if she doesnt return the? HELP will he ever be rid of her? He left her over 5 years ago but when she was in contact with him she said this was untrue (lies) I think she likes playing mind games she has moved on with her life has brought a house and belive has a new partner so what do we do i feel she will not answer door to recieve court papers when we finally trace her

Your other half can make application for service to be dispensed with. He needs to complete the form which can be downloaded from the Court service website or obtained at the family counter of any County Court. In that form he needs to set out clearly how he has attempted to contact her and some of the history - the form is simple and he simply needs to answer the questions on it. The Judge will then consider whether he has done enough, and if not will give guidance on how to proceed. If the Judge thinks enough has been done he will grant the order for service to be dispensed with and the divorce proceeds normally.

how long do we have to wait to do that we are paying for searches at the moment to try and trace her then get the papers served is there a specfic time or how many times to the atempt to serve her?
