I got a letter today. 1 Month, 3 Weeks ago

my wife vanished with my stepdaughter, not a big deal nowadays im past the hate fueled rage stages.
Anyway i came home from work today and found i had recieved a letter from her solicitor regarding a divorce.
It says i have to accept her application for Legal aid and state a case as to why i protest this within 14 days.
Ive read through to booklet and it says if i accept her ap then i would be liable for her court legal fees as well as my own, im certainly not happy about this.
Now i have no concrete evidence here by any means but i know shes not working because shes run off with some funds from her last job. Shes partner in a small local business and is in a relationship with one of her other two business partners (he's one reason for her vanishing into the ether to begin with.)
so whats the deal? if i just leave things to run their course will i be expected to foot the bill for her and her new partner? Im only working 21hrs a week for minimum wage and already in the position to either eat or pay rent, certainly not both. im already in finacial ruins so to speak, and definately cant afford a divorce.
Any advice before i loose the plot here?

Hi Chroma
I would suggest that you get some legal advice and would think that you may be eligible for legal aid yourself. Ring the number at top of home page and book a half hour free consultation with a solicitor.
