If you are fortunate to qualify for legal aid, does it just cover the cost of solicitor fees or does it cover the cost of the various petitions and forms that are presented to court?

Is there a specific charter that lays down what you pay for at certain times? I thought if you qualified for Legal Aid you were seen through to the end of the process totally, solicitors time, barristers, forms, submissions, etc and then you either paid back the amount from the settlement or through loan facility?
