Not entitled - unfair! 2 Months, 2 Weeks ago
My STBX lives and works abroad. To overcome problems with paying the mortgage and endowment (he has no UK account and transfers were costly and sometimes late) he pays £3000 approx into my UK account. I then pay the direct debits for the mortgage/endowment (total £2400) and use whats left to live on.
It appears that because my "income" exceed the £2500 (approx) limit for Legal Aid I cannot qualify for Legal Aid. How am I supposed to pay any costs when I have no money?
I don't want to push my luck with STBX by asking him to change the arrangement in case he stops it altogether.

Any ideas welcome.
