Does any one here understand the rules on publicly funded
divorce?? My s2bx has applided for it but she earns 22k a year ??is she likely to get it ??

It's all down to disposable income you have left per month after you have paid mortgage or rent, you are allowed a certain amount for yourself and for your children per month , tbh i will find it will be very hard for her to get it.

Wether she gets it or not makes no difference really as it all has to be paid back in the end, think its called the statutary charge but someone will correct me if i am wrong.... Legal aid is more of a loan than free legal work!!
