Just wondering how accurate we can assume the calcultor to be? I have entered all information submitted on both our EForms and it seems that everything is put in the 'pot'. Is this how it is worked out at FDR? My stbx pension is more than the equity in th MH. It worked out 70/30 split in my favour with a total of £423 in other maintenance. Can I assume that at FDR this is how it will be worked out ?

The principles behind the calculator are good ones: i.e.
- that everything is included in the pot - that the split is weighted in favour of the carer of the children - that the split is weighted in favour of the lower earner - that marriage length is relevant etc
BUT...
the exact results cannot be relied on. Because it cannot take all of your individual circumstances into account.
So it gives a reasonable indication - but please do not rely on the output. Seek further advice from a solicitor before making any decisions.
