Am rather confused and perturbed. All my friend and colleagues tell me something different about what im en­title­d to from marriage.I have always worked full time, including going back to work when daughter 4 months old. I have always earned more than my husband. He has always spent more than me- notching up various debts - mainly in joint names. I am currently in property paying all expenses with no maintenance. he is currently staying with family. Daughter with me 5 days a week and him 2. In the past we decided couldnt afford for me to go part time- even after returning to work after depression when i really needded to.I had no problems with husband leaving job in january on health grounds and getting job that paid less than half his previous wage. he told me tonight he will be eligible for share of my work pension. Just been on divorce calculator and it tells me i'll have to pay maintenace of £700.
I am now very worried about the future - I am barely managing to pay everyhting at the moment and have been sellin possessions to help. husband sold some of his possesions - and took daughter on holiday. (What about saving it for a deposit for somewhere to rent)
Is it just me or is ther somehting wrong here?

The divorce calc can come up with some strange results at times, as can asking friends and family. Sorry, but to get a straight answer you are going to have to take legal advice and at best you can give the full financia picture for both of you to get an idea of what you are looking at.
