is there anyway i can get my husband to leave the home, as he is unwilling to do so and this is uncomfotable for me and the children, the home is morgaged and in joint names,

Its a little difficult to say with so little information but if he also owns the house then probably not. What is your situation?

i have four children one of which is from a previous relationship and is 18, the other 3 are my husbands,
i work full time but my husband can be very aggresive, some have witnessed this but the house ares the scars of damaged units, doors, etc, i can not afford to leave with my kinds so therefore stuck in this situation

Hi Von, you have my sympathy. I was once married to a man who everybody thought was a polite, mild mannered, middle class man but I lived in a house with dents in the kitchen units etc as witness to his throwing things when he was angry with me.

Have you been to see a solicitor? You may be able to get a free half hour with one locally who could advise you on your situation. I suspect you'll discover, as I did, that you could be better off after divorce than you think you will be.

Depending on the length of your marriage and bearing in mind you have children, you will almost certainly get more than 50% of the assets of the marriage (house, pensions, savings etc) and he will have to pay towards the children (with 3 kids - 25% of his net income I believe).
