This did happen to me - it was me that Mike was referring to in his earlier post. My ex joined the site a few weeks ago in order to contact the wiki team and have them take down all my blogs due to their "defamatory" nature. I don't blame the wiki team for doing so, not at all, I can totally appreciate that they have to protect themselves and the site. However, the blogs were anonymous and while, if you knew us, you'd recoginse the story, frankly, everything I wrote was true and for the most part verifiable.
I can imagine it was very hurtful to read, but it's really the online equivalent of reading someone's diary (he did that too) so if you're going to do it, you should really be prepared to read things you're not going to like. And if you do, it's totally out of order to condemn the other person for writing them.
He now brings up things I'd written in the blog (and the diary) as we continue to try to come to a financial agreement. More proof, should I ever need it, that while there was a control freak in the marriage, it wasn't me.
Luckily, he did this at a time when I was feeling much stronger and I was able to just rise above it. I left the site for a while, and didn't feel the need to blog any more. I imagine he'll still be keeping an eye on me and will be reading this, so hi
As you can imagine, it has made me extremely wary of what I write here, and I've debated whether to even post on this thread, but I don't see why I should be censoring myself. That said, I am happy and getting on with my life now and the misery of the blogs that I wrote seems very distant now, so I am OK with their not being published any more.
