"do you recognise that you owe your wife a Lump sum settlement"(The lump sum being indeed a lot more than 'pocket change')

One Year ago: You started Occupation Order proceedings: (£18,000 worth of legal fees later) Yes; I was ousted; (because I have elsewhere to live) but your sols just forgot to mention that I had Matrimonial Home Rights (oops! all that money - and they forget to tell you the basics!)

Two posts on this Forum, and you could've assertained the truth for FREE!!!!

One year ago: I told you that a Court would recognise my contribution: A year later (Form E) allowed me to state my contribution....

Since March-July 08 You've spent a further £10,000 ++++ on yet more legal advice. Before you even started AR proceedings; I suggested Mediation after my sol told me the Court would EXPECT that! I also suggested we have an independent valuation for the MH... but no, you wouldn't listen. Now at First Appoitnment; the judge will consider my contribution; has ordered we mediate, and has asked us to get an independent valuar.

Honey Boo: You need to recognise that I do have the right to ask the judge to consider everything! And if we need to re-live two years under cross-examination; then you do that at YOUR cost.
