This first part covers the formal/legal process of dissolving the marriage: from submitting the petition right the way through to obtaining your decree absolute.

Part 2 will cover Finances (aka. Ancillary Relief).
Part 3 will cover Childcare Arrangements.

One of the main aims of Wikivorce is to save all of our members money by reducing the cost of divorce. Using part 1 of our guide it should be possible to save several hundred pounds by doing much of the Divorce Petition process yourself.

As most of you know the Wikivorce team are volunteers and we really value your feedback on the features we add to the site.

Please let us know what you think of this new Step by Step guide. We are happy to receive and act on suggestions for improvement. Also, please do inform us if you discover any mistakes in the guide and we will correct them immediately.

I am also getting the same message..... I have tried to access it via the resources ­link­, but it makes no difference - still the same message ... ' you are not authorised to view this resource'.....
I mailed 'tech help' and they replied saying I have to be registered with the site to access it...... hmmmmmm.... I have been registered for several weeks!!!!!!!
A 'technical' glitch perhaps????

We have now found and fixed the bug stopping people viewing the guide. All registered users should now be able to view part 1 of the guide - we hope you find it useful.

Oh and we really would love your feedback: improvement suggestions, typos etc.
