Debt Problem 3 Months, 3 Weeks ago
|
|
Hi there,
I am hoping someone can help. My aunt is in serious finanical difficulty. My uncle and aunt have temporary split and anyway they have a massive £200,000 to pay off (in loans and mortgage) yet their house is only worth £200,000. They have a young son also. My aunt is living at the family home with her son and my uncle is staying at his parents house. He has promised to service the loans and mortgage payments but his salary will literally just cover the payments. My aunt does is a full time mother. Now I think that this set up will not last for long and I would appreciate any suggestions or where is best to go for advice/help.
Thank you

Hi Laura, I was in financial difficulty a few years ago and found CCCS (Consumer credit counselling Service) to be of great help, both in advice and understanding. They are purely a charitable organisation, so you're not charged at all for their services. phone number is 0800 138 1111
Good Luck
Tony
