Separated 8 years 4 Months, 2 Weeks ago

Hi all
We have been separated just over 8 years and there is one child involved now aged 14. There is a separation agreement between us and essentially I agreed to and signed the separation agreement granting full custody of our son to her and I also agreed to sign over all property, savings and one vehicle to her in the interests of keeping everything amicable.
I was supposed to have regular access to my son but after I moved to Gibraltar, X made all contact with our child as unpleasant as possible and since then I have only managed to see him on six occasions. Every time I made contact with him by telephone X would make comments in the background confusing him and he would get very upset to the point where it was actually better for him to not have any contact with me.
X and I no longer communicate at all so and we should now be divorced completely. I would like to know if it is possible to easily complete the divorce following our separation and if so how. I would have thought it is very straight forward considering we have been separated for so long.
Thanks in advance

Hi
Im shocked no one has answered you yet. After 8 years there can be no contest. Get yourself a solicitor and start the ball rolling, or look at the DIY sites for the forms and process etc.
