Hi
just drafted consent order and have downloaded D81 but I`ve read in other posts about an M1, which I can`t find on HM Courts service forms list.
Can anyone please explain the differences, whether I need an M1 and if so where to get one from.

Hi Suzy,
This caused me no end of confusion. The answer is to forget about M1, it doesn't exist.
Use the D81, it provides all the info required by the M1 which as far as I could be bothered to look is an old thing.
I have a tip for you regarding undertakings and precedents for the consent order (by the way do not call it a 'draft' but a 'proposed consent order').
resolution publish a book of commonly used undertakings precedents and it cost about a hundred guineas (£105). Cheap when compared to the costs of a solicitor but if you can find a Law Library or even a laid back legal book shop you could pick out what you need.
