Hi jks1959 you say that your STBX didn't have to provide any bank statements. My ex has only produced a 'select' few. My solicitor has requested the rest of them twice, since the questionnaire. Still no sign of them. The FH is in 6 weeks, the STBX maintains that his new debts are as a result of living elsewhere, renting and stuff, I know he has had countless holidays, but without the evidence I cannot prove it. I sincerely hope the judge does not defer until all the evidence is submitted, I've waited a long time for this hearing. As you rightly say "its unfair".
Good luck to you all.
Oh, re the account. I intend to change banks after this. You see, I'm not entirely sure that he doesn't have access to it via internet banking - the joint account is with the same branch and is still open! I never have any money so he wouldn't be able to take any ha ha.

You are not allowed to blank out, alter, strike through or in any other way "doctor" any financial documents submitted to the court. If you do so, firstly you will raise suspicions in the judge, and secondly you will be ordered to provide unaltered copies.

I read a post on her a few weeks ago stating that receipts for everything should be kept. Pity I didn't know that before but I developed a system where payments are made on my behalf by a third party and I keep a record of what I owe them and pay it in chunks. Stops a paper trail that can be traced and my account with my friend is spreadsheeted in case I have to prove to a judge. (you have really got to trust the friend and they must also be prepared to back you in court) . But it worth mentioning that bank statements etc. work both ways and I gleaned two hidden accounts ..she made mistake of transferring money, two hidden savings plans , oops...she forgot about those. Bought expensive items which dont show up on statements...oh are we dealing in cash somewhere then. etc. On your original post yes I delete parts of account numbers as these are protected under the data protection act. Dont banks urge you to keep financial details personal !!!! Good luck. Take care Polar

Hi
I sent a letter to the judge requesting if I could blank out the places named in transactions (this showing where and when I attend these places) - giving the court the unblanked version (blanking out account numbers). I explained the history of abuse and intimidation and that the information in bank statments could provide the opportunity for future intimidation and unreasonable behaviour. The judge accepted my request, making a new order that I could blank out the copy given to ex (therefore only really giving him figures) and lodge an unblanked version at the Court.
Result!
