3.1 is asking me about my "income needs for yourself and any children living with me".......... i have no children living with me, so do i skip this question and move striaght to 3.1.1 which is also asking "income needs for yourself"
these to me seem to be the same question or am i missing something here.

Hi Sxi Jane,
3.1 is an introduction. You cross out 'weekly' and 'monthly' if you are putting annual figures down etc. You then write a brief explanation of why your income needs are going to change.
You have no children so you just fill out 3.1.1 and you do not fill out 3.1.2, which is the question regarding children.

thank you for that young again.
the thing is i do have children aged 18 one is in fulltime employment & one daughter who is 16 & in fulltime college with a part time job who live with their father, albeit my daughter is going to be living with her nan 6 days/nights a week. none of them are dependant on me or their father.
how should this affect what a write down in sections 3.1 & 3.1.1????????
