Sworn Form E - copies of 3 Months, 1 Week ago
|
|
(I'm self-repping) Hi,
What's "done" to the Form E once I've sworn it? Is it like stamped on the front cover or every page?
To save time I'm keen to prepare the other sides' copy prior to swearing but am I only allowed to copy the sworn one?
Hope some1 can help
Cheers

Sorry ToiletSeatUp (this has just got to be the best name),
I haven't a clue what you're on about.
Perhaps someone else will.

Hi TSU,
The back of the Form E is signed by a solicitor, commissioner for oaths or if you take it to the court by a court official.
I would suggest that you do not prepare the other party's From E as it would give them reason to come back at a later date and say that you misrepresented their financial position or put undue pressure on them or abused your position etc.
If you are on friendly terms with your xtb then by all means help her by clarifying matters, agreeing valuation of joint assets - all of that is good.

Thanks Y.A.
So for my Form E, which I have to exchange with the other side, I can have it all photocopied prior to swearing and then just slap on a copy of the sworn and signed back page.
?

hi, when i did my form E, i filled in the one copy, took it to the court to have it sworn on, i then took it to a local shop and had it photocopied twice (that cost just under £6 in total), i then took the original back to the court, dropped one copy at xs sol and i kept one myself.
Hope that helps.
