Im live in bristol from 2005, away from my wife. she is with her parents in poland. we have together a 1 year baby boy. there is no chance that she will come over to me. in the mean time I have a new relatioship with anather girl. im shure that i dont wone go back to my wife, and she will not come over here to me. can i get a divorce in uk? what about that my wife will not came over to the court? im desperate for help. she is making me crazy with her phone calls to my parents.

When you have lived in England for more than a year you can apply for a divorce and in the majority of cases neither party attends court. The application form and guide are available to download from hmcourts website, although if the divorce is likely to be contested you would be well advised to consult a family lawyer with some experience of international cases.
You do need to ensure that the financial matters are settled separately so no future claims can be made against each other.
