My daughter blames me for the seperation, not my fault at all. Not seen her for 5 weeks and not willing to communicate with me. She is 11 years old.

I should not worry too much about your daughter holding you responsible. It is a traumatic time for them too and she is probably just angry and cannot express herself in any other way. She will in time come round and then you will be able to talk to her properly. This is not unusual. 11yrs old is a hard age to accept that her family has split up. Just make sure that you know where she is, contact her as much as you can, and tell her that you will always be there for her and that you love her.

At 11 she is old enough to understand that there are 2 sides to every story (in the kindest possible way!)be aware that resident parent may be poisoning her against you - sorry but have experienced personally. Some idiots think that to use children as a weapon is their 'right' so do try and open dialogue with your daughter somehow asap.
