CSA Child Definition 3 Months ago
Hi, I have an apparently simple question. I have 2 children, details as follows, Child 1 - age 19 in full-time education at University Child 2 - age 18, just finished sixth-form, due to attend University in Sept/Oct 08 I am sure that Child 1 is not a 'qualifying child', but is Child 2? I suspect he is not but can anyone advise? Regards.

For CSA purposes the children are under 16 or between 16 and 19 and in full time, non-advanced education (not higher than A level standard) The Courts have jurisdiction for over 18s in education or training. Child support and child benefit for child 2 will end after the first week in September.
