Well thank god for that, thanks for posting that on here... I don't have a problem with people who can't work because their kids are school age, who get child maintenance payments, because when the child is that young then they should be supported by the absent mother or father, but when they go to school, I really do feel that the parent responsible for the child should make attempts to support herself and the child or children by herself, if the mother or father wants to chip in something, like clothes and trips away now and again, that's fine, but you don't have children and create a pre-child agreement... you go in with your eyes open. Obviously there are exceptions, full time carers of children who will never be able to leave and be independant, that's a different argument, you don't choose to have a disabled child. I have to say that women who "take men for everything they've got" are a no no for me, and I'm a woman... If you can support yourself and your child/children, then do so, don't rely on anyone else. When your children are school age, I really do think you should look for work part time even, the benefits system is there to support you, you're entitled. I'm rambling on now, but I really feel strongly about this, exceptional circumstances need not reply to this lol.
