When the csa are assessing the child maintenance, would it be taken into account that at present i am paying 1/2 of the mortgage?

They can, yes. Its a so called variation The parent with residency and the children must still live in the house and you must have no legal interest in it.
The magic word is CAN.. not must. Provide them with good arguments and hope for the best. Be glad when they do it.. fight if they dont.But keep in mind that you might not win anyone over.

stillalive thankyou for your reply - as the fmh is still jointly owned (financials still being sorted) would they say i still had a legal interest in it
