Sorry dont understand, did she spend the money after you were divorced? You could ask the bank for the copies of the cheques and if it was her signature on then surely it is her debt? Presumably a joint account.
As for the money going into the boyfriends account, I suppose the CSA will pay it into any account they are asked to. But yes I would want to know why, if the money is for the children, he could easily do a bunk at any time and it would take the CSA months to act on any information to put a stop on paying into that account and transfer it into your ex-wife's. It would be interesting to find out if he is included in the CSA report?
Dont know, it is all a mystery to me how an organisation put in place to ease misery for children, just causes absolute chaos, and worse, they just dont care. They know best and always will. You have no come back whatsoever, whatever they decide is right!
It might be an advantage for you to do some investigating into the matter, perhaps give the CSA a call and see if his income is included in all of this. That is if you get through to someone with a brain cell that is turned on!

Thanks Zara, I have a solicitor on the cause re: use of the cheque book and have approached the bank concerned. In law, it states that I am still have joint liability for the debt, however, I filed a subject access request which gave me details of all the transactions over the last 4 years so fingers crossed. I am still quite amazed that the CSA are paying money into a third party account. considering that they do not recognise the income of her partner in the maintenance calculation, how can they justify paying him the money? I suspect there maybe a benefits scam going on here as she is obviously not declaring the income from me and keeps it away from her bank account. Food for thought I guess. I received a nasty letter from the partner telling me that it was easy to sort out payment problems with government agencies and that I should be making manual payments. I believe that this would be letting the CSA off the hook and caving in to his demands, so I have decided to see the process through using the escalation processes. Their choice was to use the CSA, so if you live by the sword you should expect to die by the sword..etc. Am I right by sticking to principles on this one?

As you have an arrangement with the CSA do not pay manual payments otherwise your gonna land up paying twice as whilst you have a claim with the CSA only the PWC can close the claim they will start adding arrears on you.Just pay via the CSA.

Hi Angel, thanks for that. What I mean by manual payments is still going via the CSA but doing it via Post Office etc. with a paying in book. I assume they have a mechanism for doing that?

Justy quickly....

You can either do DD or have paying in book or
an attachment of earning order, which is the final step when they have messed things up well and truly and accuse you of not paying, so it will come straight out of your wages.
Probably the easiest way really, at least you have a good record of it.

It is about CSA or none payment of , about time too this is long over due.

I wonder if they will go after my ex partner regardless of the kangeroo court hearing resulting in my losing custody of our son and he got him.

I do not think for 1 moment wife no 2 would be able to support this debt along with have another woman's child reside long term in her won home.

Are'nt they just the most annoying exhausting pile of junk you have ever come across.
I bet they could be attributed to most of the amicable divorces turning into the most acrimonious and messy. Sorry, but something should be done about this boyd of totally brain dead people. Spouses, partners really do not realise that when they call in the hit squad, because they are jealous, or hateful are actually doing themselves more harm.
I wonder if there is anyone out there that has had a good relationship with ex and everyting gone swiimmingly.?
