Please can anyone advise.

I have been married 4 years now. Had lived together for 4 years prior. My wife owns the house we live in and we have just moved to a another property in order to downsize. She earns 30k a year where I earn 14k. The property is in her name and there are no children involved. She had recently asked me to move out. I cannot afford to buy another property and I asked her for some financial help. She said no. Everything was in her name. Now we have moved and still together my wife said I dont have to pay any housekeeping. Over the last 8 years I have always paid housekeeping. Can you advise whether this is a cunning plan to get me out or something. Also what entilement do I have for finances? Im told not to leave on my own accord but to wait until i get kicked out. Any good help and advice apprecialted

So when you downsized to a new house she still didnt put the house in both names? Hmmm sounds funny to me, as usual I dont know the legalities, but seems she's leaving you high and dry, while you're trying to find out where you stand, why don't you look at affordable housing for yourself, even going on a council list incase the worst happens, good luck.

OH DEAR! It may have been wiser to have put it in joint names! something stinks here...see CAB or solicitor and get advice....
