No it does not affect Tax Credits if he is staying a few nights a week... He is not there permanently. If he was then she would have to declare his earnings on the form and she would get less money. It clearly states on the form " If you are now living with a new partner or your circumstances have changed you must advise us immediately as it may affect your claim "
But why should she declare it if she is raking in so much money.
I know my tax credits went through the roof when me and my Ex seperated ( now finally divorced thank goodness) I had more money than when we were together.

hmmmm really if he is staying no more than 3 nights and not contributing then its probably ok....but if he is staying more than that then you shouldnt be paying so much and she will have to claim tax credits as a couple....

When PIs are used to establish co-habitation they work on the basis of 3 out of 5 week nights or 4 out of 7 nights in one week as proveing co-habitation this along with other evidence is what they use in court

funnnily enough my boyfriends wife received £300 tax credits a week and now has to pay back £25,000 in overpayment so becareful all you who think ure on a good screw from them cos you will pay for their mistake!
