car 5 k ex ( but not valued on form e)
cash savings 3 k ex
earnings 36 k ex (declared on form e at 32 )
earnings me 32 k ( temp contract ends next march 27 k pay 6 k forces pension in payment)
CEVT ex 80 k ( she is buying extra years at 250 per month for last 5 years)
ex has guaranteed earning rise next to years to 40 k
ex is keyworker and has access to interest free loans next 5 years plus lease car.

? fair split judge did not have form E's plus ex's supporting statements not completed and everything filed late no time to raise questions and my sol spent most time bartering with ex's council prior to hearing,
so led by sols. agreed to new house valuation (court valuation.
my sol does not think her income buying power counts or her added years -
ex has now threatened to borrow more money as moving to new rented property.
?can ex spend more and run up debts prior to next hearing?

Do I split my assets regardless of ex's better buying power or is it reasonable to have some extra as I want a clean break. And want to save expensive costs

I don't blame you for not wanting to incurr further costs; however, you have little choice if it's not moving forward...

Quick question: Have you made an offer to her? ­base­d on a Clean-Break: what is the percentage split???

There's sometimes no reason things are not 'fair'. It's like gambling. Sooner or later you'll have to weigh up the costs for fighting it.

Start with an offer of £100k and then discuss.

I actually offered 75K - 80 k so far

ex wants 92 k. plus is threatening to run up her debts

the difference is not great if we could meet somewhere near the middle considering the cost of any disagreement.

The Judge directed that the house be valued for FDR although he did ask if we would just agree on a value given the volatility of the market?

I remained in the house and would like to do so.

Try agreeing on a house valuation, otherwise an Expert Witness may charge £600 +++ to quote for an Expert Witness Valuation if the parties can't agree...

We were advised the same; ours involved two homes, and a small plot of land with development potential. The cost of the Expert Valuation was expected to be more than £4k

Anything you can agree on will reduce expense, otherwise you end up with 'expert' valuations for everything! Business, home, Pensions etc..
