x has finally moved out of MH.
TOOK EVERYTHING(joint owned household items e.g furniture even the bed and left me with no bed or even a chair to sit on.) he considered as his as listed on schedule of contents but which he has not signed at all.
Also consent order still not been signed by him either.Got the Absolute but no further forward at all really as his sol isn't replying to any communication at all from my sol.deadline set for handing over of signed consent order last month never acknowledged at all by his sol. all e mails, letters phonecalls are ignored. costing me a packet trying to get his sol to even reply.settlement was agreed just x hasn't and won't sign the consent order.no reply even by today.what on earth is going on?
Any ideas??

It may well be that his solicitor is not receiving instructions from him.

If I was your solcitor I would be writing asking whether they are still instructed.

his solicitor won't respond to anything my sol has tried.phone calls, hand delivered letters, a e mails,letters,phone messages all he gets is voicemail.he refused to leave last message on voicemail and spoke to x's sol's assistant, he still received no response in return.this is costing me rediculous amounts of money for nothing.

Hi Topaz, how awful for you! I was hoping absolute came AFTER finances were sorted & handed over? Ive a lot to learn & go through yet i guess. The best of luck in getting this resolved, you must be so fed up!

hi cindygirl, as it was a straight 50/50 clean break no pensions involved etc it was deemed now essential to get the absolute to show x there was no going back in case x in his somewhat misguided mentality was delaying signing consent order perhaps hoping that my funds would run out before consent order signed and we'd still remain married.if nothing else he left after absolute within days in fact.where claims on pensions etc are involved you don't get the Absolute until finances sorted first. made no difference in my case.

hi contacted my x who says his sol is still his sol but even he cant get to speak to him or receive any documentation from him.he gets voicemail too.and if (my x) is to be believed he has no idea about anything as his sol hasn't been telling him about anything either even about a set deadline to hand over signed consent order which if not met could result in me filing form A at court to conclude the case.altho it only requires x to sign consent order..he had agreed to the financial split as 50/50 on everything,equal shares etc just minus his signature.he's emptied the house of joint marital assets even though he hasn't signed his agreement to the division of household contents as listed which was part of the consent order.the consent order was drawn up and ammended by both sols who stated agreement had finally been achieved yet his sol is ??? and x not signing , x says because he hasnt received c order to sign his sol now not responding to anyone now..... what a mess!
