We have recently learned that Amanda, who has generously devoted much of her free time in the last 2 years providing support and advice to members of Wikivorce, has been disciplined by the Bar Standards Board.

She was charged with telling a litigant in person over the telephone that a court hearing was adjourned when it was not.

We understand that Amanda didn't know that a disciplinary hearing was scheduled and did not attend the hearing. As a result, it seems that her version of events and her evidence was not presented to the panel.
